Quixtar and Alticor believe it's our responsibility to share with the communities where we do business. That's why we created the One by One Campaign for Children.

One by One calls our Independent Business Owners, employees, and customers to rally around one unified cause: improving the well-being of children.

Since the program launched in 2003, we have: Provided hope and opportunity to more than 5.5 million children, contributed 839,000 employee and IBO volunteer hours, and donated more than $52 million worldwide. But those are just numbers. What makes One by One special is the belief that when you help a child, you help a community. You help the world.

The impact of the One by One program has been acknowledged by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with the 2005 International Community Service Corporate Citizenship Award and by the American Business Awards as the 2004 Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program.

As part of the Alticor's global effort to improve the well-being of children, Quixtar partners with these excellent organizations:

	Easter Seals As a leading supporter of Easter Seals, Quixtar is the title sponsor of the organization’s "Walk With Me" events that take place in cities throughout the country. Funds raised through these events help children and their families within the communities.
	U.S. Dream Academy Established in 1998, the U.S. Dream Academy empowers at-risk youth by providing them with academic, social, and values enrichment through supportive mentoring programs. Quixtar supports the U.S. Dream Academy with an annual gift of $100,000.
	The American Red Cross The American Red Cross responds to disasters such as hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, and fires, or other situations that cause human suffering or create human needs that those affected cannot alleviate without assistance. Quixtar and its parent company, Alticor, along with IBOs, have responded to disasters such as the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the tsunami of 2004, and the hurricanes of 2005, by donating products, contributing financially, and providing volunteers to assist with relief efforts.
	Vitamin Relief USA Vitamin Relief USA – Children First™ is a public/private partnership that distributes daily children's chewable multivitamin/multimineral supplements to children at risk for malnutrition and nutrient deficiency. Quixtar has supported this program with a donation of Nutrilite® Kids Chewable Multivitamin/Multimineral tablets.
